From the start of Realize Websites, giving back to the community has been one of our goals. Recently, our charitable gifts have been devoted to helping organizations and businesses that support young people who are our future leaders and community members.

Dexter Daze

Realize Websites is actively involved with the annual Dexter Daze event. As publicity chair, we promote the event, design the website, create the publicity and compose the news releases. This year, we conducted a graphic arts contest to design the 2010 Dexter Daze t-shirt. The grand prize included $100 and the design being reprinted on 400 t-shirts.

Dexter Drama Club

In the arts department, we support the Dexter High School Drama Club with their website and online calendar. For memories, students can look at their past performances with picture slide shows since 2004. It has been a wonderful experience seeing how the drama club has grown over the past several years and it will be exciting to see how they develop over the years to come.

 Athletic Booster Club of Dexter

In February, Realize Websites contributed to the Athletic Booster Club of Dexter (ABCD) at their 7th annual dinner by creating the poster that promoted their biggest fund raising event of the year.

Sea Turtle Ministries

We are in the process of assisting a non-profit organization called Sea Turtle Ministries with their website and publicity. This is an innovative college ministry being developed to help students learn about and connect with God in a late night coffeehouse and entertainment venue. It will be a great place for people to meet, eat and bond.

Bishop Memorial Golf Outing

Paul Bishop Jr., Ron Rousseau, Paul Bishop Sr.

Every summer we contribute to the Bishop Memorial Golf Outing. In memory of family and friends, we help with the publicity and thank-you pamphlets. We also raise money with a competition hole to donate to Ele’s Place, a grief counseling center for children and the Bishop Scholarship, to raise money for “pay to play athletics” in the Dexter Schools.

Dexter Class Reunions

Since Laurie and Tracey both grew up in Dexter and are raising their families here, what better way to stay connected than to help organize the Dexter Class Reunions. Since this year is a big one and we have the technology to help out, we have started plans for the coming events.
