In 2007, Laurie Kokmeyer started her own business called Laura Lacca Consulting LLC because of her experience in computer science and education. She also considered the rise in Michigan’s unemployment and saw a niche in developing websites for new entrepreneurs. With these thoughts, Laurie developed a business plan with a three point focus:

  1. Designs and Manages Business Websites
  2. Develops and Directs Media Productions
  3. Provides On-Site Computer Training

In 2009, a new company name, Realize Websites LLC, was chosen to replace Laura Lacca Consulting LLC for marketing reasons. The new name, logo, brochures, business cards, colors, social media and website took into account the research on successfully marketing and growing your business.
